I turn on my PSP 2000 and the green light comes on for 1-2 seconds and goes off. My battery is full, I checked it with my friends PSP. I was playing a game and i heard a popping while i was tilting and pressing buttons on my PSP, and whenever one of the characters attacked or was hit. I turned it off for a day and left it on the charger, came back and it was still doing it, but only on a specific mission. I turned it off and put it back on the charger hoping that will solve it. Two days later I go to the same story level and it is still popping my right speaker, only fixed when I turned off volume. At one point i turned the volume back on, still popping and turned it back off, but my screen went blank, I could hear the battle taking place and my team and I dying, I turn off my PSP. Now when I turn it on the screen is black, no back light. sometimes it does the loading Sony Computer Entertainment logo on start then goes black and shuts off. About 1/10 times I turn it on it will have the green light for 5-10 seconds but usually it doesn't.
Could my PSP be broken? or bricked? I never dropped it, I treated it like a baby, I gave it the usual OFW updates from Sony, I didn't hack it at any point nor did I attempt to. I have not used a pandora battery or mms on it. I am hoping it is bricked and not broken, however I am guessing its broken. I did buy it refurbished 1 year ago from GameStop so I have no clue what was done to it before hand. Any help would be greatly appreciated
