Hi
Seems that so many related issues are floating around so I thought a simple yes or no checklist would help even the uninitiated como yo.

1. Kinnect dash is needed for newer games
2. Newer games force dash update
3. AP25 patch prevents newer back ups working with the new dash
4. Back ups of older games will still work with Kinnect dash
5. AP25 does not affect drives in the same way
6. Wavepatcher can change ISO to earlier wave but this will not necessarily get the game to work
7. Use of Wavepatcher invariably means a flag and a ban.
8. Everyone will benefit from the LT+ FW

Gracias y adios

1. True if they have AP2.5 which most will probably have from here on out, Blackops didnt but since then yes it appears that newer ones do.
2. True
3. True
4. True
5. True, it blocks new ap2.5 backups from playing on all drives except samsung, and certain models of hitachi and will also flag your console even if offline.
6. wave and ap2.5 are not related so changing wave does not matter
7. True
8. True, will allow all games to boot on the new dash and for console to operate both onlive and offline without flagging the console for a ban. and will also allow non live users to boot anygame without having to patch waves and use activate discs(Lt already did this but some people are either too lazy to update their FW.

LT+ is expected before Christmas but thats all we know. Exact dates are usually never given unless it is happening in 1-2 days and even then it is rare to get exact release date

If you send me questions on Live about modding or anything related i will block you. Dont be an idiot.

Many thanks

Can you just clarify the circumstances when you need to use the activate disk.

activate disc was used with older FW like 1.61 to boot games that were of unknown wave released after the fw was made. the activate disc just tells the fw to temporarily boot anygame of any wave untill the system was rebooted and then it would have to be done again. the fw was made to prevent someone from booting an unsafe disc so they would inadvertently flag themselves for a ban. With LT the checks to boot certain waves were removed which then allowed the fw to boot any wave or SS status thus putting the responsibility of making sure games were safe for live on the user.
