So i purchased the Max Shooter for the Xbox 360. 66 bucks, and a wired controller. about 100 bucks total with shipping and all that. i do exactly what the instructions say but.. the controller just lights up.. all 4 lights flash forever. and the Xbox360 just doesnt pick it up at all. the Console connection display light does notlight up whatso ever. i dont know if the item is defective or whats going on... ive tried all variations of the order of plugging things in and turning on the xbox360. If someone can give me any ideas what i can do, or what exactly "new version" of the wired controller means, i originaly tried my madcats one. but it did the same thing my microsoft one is doing now. Please help me!! thank you..
Also i have the new 4gb Slim version of the xbox360.. i hope thats not the problem, just thought id add that in.
make sure you have the MS wired controller and not just the play incharge cable. you would probably have better luck going to the manufactures website if there is one and asking for support there.
Thanks. ive tried to contact mayflash but they dont respond. Nor do they have a forum or Anything, but thanks for the link ill check it out. and yes i have the MS wired controller. i bought it just for this and still nothing. i hope its not the slim 360 thats not compatible..
If anyone has found a solution or reason for this issue, please post. I'm having the same issue. It works fine when plugged into a PC usb, but will NOT work on the xbox. Any ideas?
update: Just bought a brand NEW xbox 360 (the other one was a 2007) and the max shooter does not work on it either. I don't know why I don't see this issue from others. I even see people raving about how well it works. Mine will not even detect and I've tried it on 2 different xboxes. Again, to point out, it works perfectly on a pc usb, but NOT on an xbox 360, where I need it.
