I have replaced my ps3 hd and installed it into an external enclosure, my pc windows 7 does not recognize it so I cant format it. The device manager does recognize it but I have no options, any ideas?

You need to right click on computer and click manage and then click where it says storage and click on where it says disk management and all the drives will appear here.

you then need to select the apropriate drive and format it there

Ah I didnt know about that short cut always go thorugh control panel here.

but yeah as above but it may not be listed in the top half, but should be on the bottom half. If it has a black bar along the top instead of a blue like you main hdd, that it'll most likely be the drive with teh black bar.
