Lt or lt+ for Hitachi ?

Hey all, got a new xbox today and found out that it has a hitachi drive :( looked everywhere and the last iextreme for the drive is 1.51.
My question is will there be lt or lt+ for hitachi
Also if i use 1.51 what are the risks and what percations can i take to reduce being detected with the drive?

What version of the firmware does your Hitachi drive contain? 47? 79?
Older Hitachi and Samsung are immune to AP25. If your machine is new, I doubt that it would fall under that umbrella.
Lite-On 74850, Ben-Q 64930, Hitachi 47DJ, Samsung MS28.

I have a couple Hitachi 47's these are good to go on live if I put Xtreme 1.51? Please do explain :)

No cubbyfan. You would get a instant ban. ixtreme 1.51 is old and detectable and as far as i know i dont think they will come out with a new one.

i flashed my best friend xbox last year on the ban wave,he has a 79 and played unpatched copys of mw2 and l4d2 and no ban yet

Well its defo not a instant ban as im running a Hitaci with 1.51 and survived the last 2 ban wave.

to be honest insta bans seem to be a myth aside from running a jtag on live. I have never heard many reliable instaban stories. but hitachi old FW is def a insta-redflag i would say lol

I flashed my drive myself back in feb. I believe the ver. is 47dj. Anyways, the key is to make sure you pass abgx completely and have it be ssv2. almost a year and no ban yet : ). No need for newer firmware! Hell MS has probably forgotten all about hitachi's!

I've lasted 2 ban waves with my 59dj hitachi, and I play online with it almost every night.
Just make sure your games are verified and patched.
I find it funny that many 1.51 hitachis are still online after both ban waves,
I read it all the time looking through forums.
I guess we all lucked out.
