Hi, I'n not exactly sure, but I think I've found a way to play Assassins Creed Brotherhood.
Someone told me on a forum that if you rent a retail version of the game and install it to your Hard Drive, you could boot it any time you want with a downloaded disc of the game. I just want to know if it's true so I can rent it instead of buying the game.
I also have another questions to ask. If the method I mentioned didn't work, is there a way to play Brotherhood without waiting for LT+ ? I have already tried playing it and installed the new Kinect Dashboard, but it didn't work.
Also, I have a question concerning buying the retail version of the game:
Is it possible to play the game online using the original version without getting banned? I have had an X-Box 360 for 2 years, and have never tried connecting online. I tried playing the downloaded version of Assassins Creed Brotherhood but that didn't work for me. I am just wondering if my console wouldn't get banned if I go online or on Uplay. Thanks in advance, and I would greatly appreciate any answers.

Since you have attempted to play the game and it failed on new dashboard, then it means you're console is already flagged. So the moment you sign into live then it will add your console to ban list. If for some reason you haven't updated to new dash, and are trying it on old 9199 dash then you should be fine, but from what it sounds like you have updated. But if you haven't updated then waiting for lt+, and then signing into live you should be fine. And I'm pretty sure that renting and installing it to hard drive is a waste of time, cause the xbox has to check game in drive against the one you're trying to launch, and since game has ap25 enabled which is meant to check for hacked firmware then it is going to do checks on drive and fail.

Thanks alot for the answer! I really appreciate it. Might as well wait for LT+ if I want to go online.
Also, what if I buy the retail version of the game, would it work or would it check for AP2.5?
