Help needed with RE1 save EURO PS3 please read!

My PS3 recently got the YLOD, just after I'd completed Resident Evil with Chris, obtaining all the goodies!
I've found an NTSC save for this, but my copy of RE1 is PAL.
I've managed to extract the PSV and convert it to PAL, but I can't get it back onto the PS3 successfully (I have a copy of the save as .mcs and as a raw PSOne save).
If I could find drivers for the Memory Card adapter, I could copy it across myself.
Can someone point me in the right direction for these drivers, or perhaps convert the file for me? I noticed on this thread (http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/746036) that KajNrig managed to convert a PAL PSV to NTSC, and then back successfully!
ANY help would be greatly appreciated! I've done the bulk of the work, I just can't get it back to the PS3.
