Does this mean BenQ or Lite On drives are gonna be good again?
Moreover...does that mean motherboard with HDMI& AV Video Port is now good to MOD past the AP 2.5 BS?

yes but as modking stated you will have to find patched games, the releases of the games that are ap2.5 will not be online safe.

ACB, and fable have been released, c4eva said he was packaging and then he would release, i'm assuming maybe he is putting something in there to patch games, maybe an update to ABGX?

Figured this topic was pure BS when I first saw it. Logged in to #fw on irc, and it is 100% legit, but its crazy in chat, full of a bunch of retards asking same questions over and over and over.......... I would make everyone wait a week if they kept asking every 2 secs how come I cant find on xbins, how much longer its been 4hrs, is there an approximate time until release...... Glad its finally out though, a lot faster than last years update.

First, the HDMI and AV have nothing to do with any of this. its the type of drive you have that matters not the bideo port, i dont know why you think that matters.

no that damage has already been done. this fw will prevent people that haven't made that same mistake from making it.

And even if damage is already done the new fw will still allow you to play games with AP2.5. My console has been banned for a year, all I want is to be able to play the new games.

You will be able to play new games after you flash to LT+ and patch the games. You can uncorrupt any profile too.

Maybe im just too naive or ignorant to understand this but when the new fw is flashed onto my xbox i would assume that it wouldnt corrupt my gamertag anymore because it wouldnt be able to recognize that i was playing a backup copy of these games.
But if i understand what was mentioned earlier by Stealth my xbox is pretty much the same as an xbox that was banned for playing online with a modded console and will continue to corrupt my gamertag

if your console is flagged then it cant be undone. the fw will allow you to boot new games yes. you can uncorrupt your profile to use on a different xbox but if you put it back on the flagged console it will corrupt again and you have to repeat the process to uncorrupt over again.
