My BenQ drive is Unresponsive

I recently hooked my 360 with a benq drive up to my pc to flash it with the latest firmware.

I used jungleflasher 0.175....b etc.

I had a hard enough time connecting to my pc in order for it to be recognized.

anyways i got the drive into vendor mode and and hit "READ" ....the computer wasn't frozen but jungleflasher was, i waited for like 10 minutes because it wasn't doing anything.

So I went into task manager and ended jungleflasher.... then afterwards, i realised that when i turned my 360 on it was flashing a green light in the middle constantly and my benq drive was
completely unresponsive. I decided to put it into another 360 and it still was not responsive.

I don't have the original firmware...stupid.....

Please HELP ME! I need some advice or something....

I haven't ran into this issue before but I think that means the drive is still in vendor mode. I believe you can connect it back to jungleflasher and send the outro to send it back to normal mode

I still can't do anything.

I loaded up jungleflasher and when i click outro...it says sending... and it doesnt do anything.

no matter what port i select....jungleflasher says "no drive detected"

You need to rename the via drivers in c:\windows\system32

what are they called....etc.

disable your sata card in device manager
c:\windows\system32\viamraid.sys rename to viamraid.sys.bak
re-enable your sata card (should have a yellow exclamation)
try to intro and/or benq unlock again

I am not seeing a file by the name of "viamraid.sys"

I saw vsmraid.sys......and i did what you said but jungleflasher still says device intro failed....

No offense, can't see how you would have ever used JF since this must be done before you can even use it
But I have never had this problem before....nor have I ever needed to do anything as far as messing with the via card or disabling drivers etc...

Why would you make a comment like that when you could have said something that would help me with this problem...

Please help.

I made the comment because you clearly didn't search. JF usually freezes if you don't disable the windows drivers. Do that and the drive should dump just fine with the via chipset card. BenQ is the cake of all drives to flash.

ya i just remove the driver file completely and put it on a usb stick that i then remove. then reboot the PC and start over. if you remove the driver but then do not reboot it changes nothing. you must reboot in order for the change to take effect. just like when you install a new driver and it says you need to reboot.
