I don't ever play online nor do I have any interest in doing so in the future. What would be the best "waveless" firmware option? I just want to be able to pop any back-up in and play with no boot disc required. I'm not sure if my drive is sammy, lite-on, benq, hitachi, etc but I'm assuming the firmware is dependent on what drive I have? Any help is appreciated!

LT+ which will be released in the next hour. It's the only way to play all current games.

Will LT+ be available for ALL drives? If not, what is the best firmware for the drives that aren't supported by LT+?

So would the regular LT be the best offline waveless firmware for drives like sammy & hitachi and be able to boot all games old & new?

Ok, so to summarize, the best current offline waveless firmwares for each drive is:

Lite-On = LT+
Benq = LT+
Samsung = LT
Hitachi = 1.51
