I have tried everything, I am updating my Lt to LT+. Everything is reading but when I
eject drive
- disconnect power
- close tray half way
- plug power back in to get the drive into half tray mode it doesnt work for me. It either sucks the tray back in when powered on. Then I eject, press eject but when half way closing I pull the power plug wait a few seconds turn 360 off then on then re plug in the drive with tray still half open. I still get the failed power drive half open error. Any other ideas. I have tried every measure, timing. I really want to update tonight to play brotherhood.
Help
I can't remember why the half tray method was used...it's been a long time since I've had to do it so maybe it's outdated. If you have to do it though I believe the method that I used (though a little scary) is to turn on the 360, eject the tray, pull the power from the *drive* not the 360, half tray, return power to drive.

I am updating, I tried to get the key but says serial data bad. I was told that since its already been flashed that I just need to do dummy from ixtreme. I just cant get the tray right. I have tried that way and still get the message of power on half tray open
