Rovio Mobile's blockbuster app "Angry Birds" is headed to home consoles, and soon. The developer also says they are currently working on an Angry Birds 2 game for mobile users. Rovio's new version of the game will work on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii, opening up the game to a whole new giant customer set. well... not sure if this game going to do well. It's a great game for android and the i-phone, but I would be weary of it on consoles.

Yes you could be right, but the console community is more networked then the iPhone. For example Xbox live could provide better leader-boards or even Real time Multi Player could be interested if developed well.

Not only that, they would need to kick it up a notch to make it a Next Generation game, the engine just needs a tweek and graphics upgraded but end of the day it could turn out to be a risk.

As the owner of Angrybirdswalkthrough.com, i am looking forward to this release as i am a 360 fan boy and quite interested in seeing the first iPhone to 360 port with updates. I am going to keep my faith in what is in development due to Angrybirds is still #1 in itunes and mostly kept it's position as first 90% of the time and my traffic is still rising so the product itself is quite popular and has quite dominated the phone gaming market.

Not sure about anyone else but i want to see what they are going to do with this wonderful engine they have created.
