Do i still need to manually patch ssv2 on AP25 games?

I have NFS Hot Pursuit which abgx has sucessfully patched the AP25 files however it still says ssv1!

Why doesnt abgx patch the ssv2 aswell? Do i even need to do it manually or is the AP25 patch safe with ssv1?

even on autofix level 3 it doesnt automatically patch ssv2 files

you need ssv2. go to the site and go to the verified section look for your game and then on far right it sais a small number click it and there are the files and link on how to do it. its easy just follow the guide.

personally i use a program called mousepatcher(google it). it grabs the files from the abgx database and patches them. all you do is drag and drop the iso in the prgram. then i scan with abgx to verify

I just tried out mousepatcher for the first time after hearing about it for so long and I can't believe how ridiculously simple it is. Thanks for the Reco stealthdf...guess I was waiting for a credible thumbs up from someone.

I just manually do it in abgx when I see ssv1 on the ap2.5 games.

even if your never going to go on Xbox Live its good to make all your games SSV2 including the AP2.5 ones

ABGX 1.0.4 will patch AP25 games. I did ACB and NFS last night.

Abgx 1.04 patches ap25 but it does not automatically patch ssv2, why I have no idea- would-be nice if it did!

If I still have to manually patch ssv2 that's fine, just wondered whether it was actually necessary

I saw something about run the iso thru abgx then use ppf-o-matic for the final patch. Is that what y'all use? Im about to backup AC Brotherhood and don't want to waste a dvd or flag myself

ABGX did SSV2 when it did the AP25 check and fix.

The mac version of ppf-o-matic crashes when you open it and ppf master doesn't seem to work either. Is there another way to apply the patch? or can you only do it on a pc?

you can try bootcamping your mac and then running PPF-o-matic on PC
