hi all,

i have been flashing for a while now and have come across a problem.
a friend has brought me a console to flash which originally had a lite on 74850 drive in it which had been replaced with a samsung ts-h943 ms25 drive.
until recently all had been well until he tried playing need for speed hot pursuit which as we knopw is ap2.5
it loads on the dash then gives dirty disc error.
can i put a hitachi drive or a sammy ms28 in this console or do i need to return it to lite on?
thanks for any help offered

you cant spoof drives anymore with new fw and dashboard. MS can detect spoofs

I have a question about this. I have a hitachi 79 and I do not play on live. I understand that the 47/48 hitachis do not have the code for ap2.5 and I have a spare hitachi 47. If i spoof the key to my 47. Should this work?

Does the OSIG make a difference between hitachis?

I have a 79 that works just fine with the new dash and ap2.5. I guess it's hit and miss.

i tried an ms25 sammy drive it would not work.
i have ordered all different drives and will trial my experiencesand post here.
