Benq 0800 Flash Not Detected by Back-Up Creater

I finished flashing my VAD6038 with the 0800 firmware. But, neither Back-Up Creater nor Schtrom detect it. Is there a sequence of powering up and connecting that I need to observe?

also im having the same same problem i have downloaded the latest schtrom but like you say no recognotion im goin to try a few differnent things then ill message back. read from xbins says no half open tray needed with 0800 1.6 ??
