Hi

Just about to flash LT+ to my Benq and have a query. When I previously spoofed the Benq as a Hit 79 I did the write and all worked fine but forgot about the Outro instruction.

Everything has worked fine since so I just wondered how critical this process is.

its not critical, its more of a safety precaution. similar to removing a usb, u can either just yank it out or do 'safely remove hardware' first

Actually if you don't send the outro it will stay in vendor mode and won't even eject. It's important to do on all drives that require it.

Found this out last nite myself. (It also showed a RRoD for a til I re-flashed it)

Wish I had thought to do that first before I reconnected it to the PC. (it was very late and I was pretty tired)
