Hi guys,
I am new to the modding xbox scene and recently get my xbox elite chipped. When i took it to the guy he said that i had one of the xboxes which required him to do something inside the DVD drive for it to work (he said it was the harder one to do)

I can play some backup games fine, like Halo Reach, Fifa 11 and Mafia 2.

However i have got a backup of Need for speed Hot pursuit and am getting a 'unable to read disc error' when i try to play the game. I have also tried to install the game but it gives me the same error when i get to around 85%.

I have put it into ABGxx and it is saying all is ok, and the mac i am using it comes straight up saying it is an xbox game.

I am using verbatim discs, the ones which everyone recommends.

Im stuck, have searched for a solution and people keep saying somethin about WAVE and i need to have a particular update and a particular firmware. I am unsure of the firmware i have (any way of knowing?) and what this whole wave and ap2.5 thing is. Can any1 shed any light?
