Hi - Can anyone confirm if GT5 has a sys update on please? Don't wanna go beyond 3.41........

It was reported that the delay to GT5 was due to Sony wanting firmware 3.5 to be on the disc prompting you to update your PS3 to the latest firmware. Also there has been a report that GT5 cannot be played on "jailbroken" PS3s.I have not seen any new news stating that the "hacking" community has found a way to get GT5 to play on "jailbroken" PS3.

GT5 was written on the 3.30 SDK, and there is supposedly a hacked euro version floating around that was compiled with this SDK, and which works with JB systems. (I have not searched; this game is too much of an online game to waste time with a JB version). What you get on the disk when you buy it is a version that has been compiled with the 3.50 SDK, and thus needs 3.50 firmware (at the moment)...it isn't just a firmware spoof thing.
