Not So Good News ... Lizard Suggested Price: $99.90 if you pre-order. Regular $110 price.
This may cause alot of people to hold off on purchasing a Lizard (me for one) ... especially if trace cutting is still required.
Let's wait and see what the advantages are of Team Xecuter's version and what it will retail for.

Ok, so if I read correctly, there's 3 of these types of devices going to be released and "none" require trace cuts, correct?

MAXIMUS CONFIRMED THAT CUTTING IS REQUIRED.
Quote: You are complaining about the no-cut misunderstanding, I will CLARIFY IT even when i dont stated NOR is stated on the page of lizard. The lizard is a flasher, its a portable device that CAN ALSO work connected to the PC, it does not save you from doing cuts, BUT THE RESEARCH is not over and believe me that I do research. if we ever found a command that we can use to do that we would issue a firmware update. So yes you need do cuts on liteons but you can also apply the UART patch to save you from cuts on later time (ahh I forgot was called "unsafe" patch even when the spoof was more dangerous but oh well thats another topic).

letsmod (Ed from VGC Repairs) has started that rumor that no cutting was required awhile back, but since then will no longer respond and anyone's questions regarding "no cutting", but will still address other questions.
That's when Maximus himself stepped in and confirmed that, as of now, cutting is still required.
I've been following that whole thread and in the last couple pages everything comes to light.

I have no comment on this. Wait until Jan. 14th and all your jaws will drop. Then once again I'll be back to make some people eat their words.

If no traces need to be cut it's well worth the price so I'll just have to wait for people on here to get their hands on these

Oh, don't get me wrong. It would be great if there was a no cut solution.
But when you got Maximus himself, and it's his product, stating that he never claimed it was "no cut" to start with and states that, in fact, you do still have to cut, well then there's no question at all about it.
The proof is as clear as day. And Maximus just stated that today, Dec. 4th.
Something as BIG as not having to cut traces... that would have been PLASTERED all over Maximus's web site. And Xbox-Scene, Xbox Hacker, etc.
The real shame of the whole situation is that someone started that rumor (VGC Repair if I'm reading that thread correctly) and now A LOT of people are thinking it's true and they'll end up getting seriously ripped off.

Have faith, remember when I posted and said this product was coming before anyone even knew about it? Even TeamX had nothing at the time. I came back later and provided a video on the product before anyone had anything. Remember that?
Like I said, have faith. This product has more to it than has been revealed.

Maybe they found a way to flash without cuts by studying the new way the dash communicates with the drive. Maybe the new flash is done by a variation of a modified dash inquiry command. Then again, I havent had my coffee yet.

Like I mentioned, it was just yesterday, the 4th, when Maximus stated that cuts are necessary. It's not like he posted it a few days or weeks ago and things have changed. It was only 24 hours.
