hi i just burned, fifa 11 and Halo:Reach, they both passed abgx 360, and fifa 11 i burnt on 4x and halo was burnt on 2.4x, i just updated to the new dashboard and when i put these two games, in the drive, it says play game, and then after a while of a black screen it says unreadable disc, and the discs are perfect no scratches, but when i put in red dead, it works :S, i dont know what to do help!
so i'm guessing memorex, let me tell you what problems i have run into, some burners are not as picky as others, and will burn a disc without paying attention to small errors, this is probably what is happening with your burn, i would suggest burning the file again, very slowly and do not have anything else running on the computer when you do so, and make sure you turn off screen savers, something as small as that can cause errors.
Also Memorex just like other "lesser" brands is inconsistent. So under identical circumstances, you can get a good burn, then a bad burn, through no fault of your own. That's the reason why all brands "can" work, but "good" media like Verbatim is recommended.
