jtagable console and game updates?

i have a xbox with 7371 dash and i just put LT+ on the benq drive, when i try to play my games it wants a game update, but will this affect my xbox or is it just dashboard updates i dont want to do? thanks

OH SH@TTTTTTTTTTTT NOT HAPPY AT ALL!, my little lad just turned it on and selected the update :( i tried to cancel but, boom restart and dash 8498! i had no hdd or mem card in but that didnt stop it, looks like a plain old crap xbox again! took me ages to find this !! is ther nothing i can do AT ALL?

hi m8 im in the uk what u after for them? i want a console just to try the jtag myself i failed on my last with a home made lpt cable, but was going to buy a nandx kit until this happened lol.

That sounds reasonable as it's ~$120-150 for console only. If he mails an NTSC console to your PAL country, then you'll have to deal with power adapters and TV signals. Also, the postage price might be a little high.
