Ok i have searched the forums for over an hour now and havent found anything really worth while on this subject.

Im looking for a software package that can help me create a dvd video with mpg files i have saved from visiondtv( a hdtv video capture program) using a dvb-t card.

Id like to be able to add in a welcome screen and a menu. It needs to be easy to use for newbs like myself.

One other problem is that the files are usually quite large.. like about 3.5 gig for 30mins worth of video. Its a .mpg and uses ac3 sound. I was wondering what software would be good to first maybe compress or whatever to get it to a reasonable size.. so that i could get maybe a full footy game on a dvd.. bout 3hrs worth. Id like it still to be good quality though. when i watch the tv on my pc it is just like a dvd. Also its widescreen and was wondering if i could keep that ratio when i do the dvd.

I dont care about the price .. as long as a can find a value for buck program.

Any replys of recommendations are welcome.
