I'm hearing news of ps3jailbreak, psgroove, I just don't know what the difference is.
I see ps3 isos on torrent sites, I just want to know how I would go about running them from an external harddrive and if sony can detect this and ban you.

ps3jailbreak is one of the dongles available
psgroove is a payload

and yes sony will eventually start banning people just like ms did.

So where to start

Step 1) Buy a dongle, any dongle.

Buy a teensy 2.0 or a E3 Card reader. Don't buy the PSJailbreak; it is not as good and it is very expensive.
