Hi Guys,

This is my first post on this forum so any help would be appreciated.
I thought before I asked my question I'd give you some info on what I'd done so far

I'm Trying to Flash my 360 which has a lite-on 74850c drive.
I'm using Jungle flasher and the 'ck3 probe 2' + 'ck3 pro'.

The problem I'm having is when everything is connected
=> SATA Cable from motherboard to pro
=> USB connected
=> Probe connected
=> All lights on and seems to be working
=> Probe lights up green when I insert into the right pace on the board

Jungle Flasher won't recognize the drive. I look through the list of available IO ports on jungle flasher and none come up with my Lite-ON drive, It just says no drive detected.

I thought maybe it was that Port IO was not installed properly,
As it doesn't appear in my device manager list.

This is a image I took from a flashing tutorial showing Port IO appearing in device manager, I hope the person who posted it doesn't mind.

So I'd like to know if there's a way of installing PortIO on my Win XP 32-Bit?

Thanks Guys. Again any help would be appreciated.

It does but it just doesn't appear in my device manager.
The disk tray half open could be it.
But any tutorial I'm reading doesn't say anything about the disk tray having to be half open??

Thanks for the reply, I know this is quite a noob question.

no problem lol, the disk tray is usually my problem on getting the error bad serial data, but it may help with finding the drive, if not try dosflash32 or booting to dos with a usb and dosflash, one of them always works for me, download the jungleflasher tut, it will explain everything!

I know no more than you do, but I did manage to update my drive. I went totally nuts for 24 hours because there was no recognition of the drive. Quite by luck (i tend to be lucky) I replugged my sata cable into the sata card and the drive was recognized.

So try getting a better connection between the sata clip in plug and the sata card.
