Apple Lisa 1 computer available via auction

article published on 20 December, 2010

It was $10,000 in 1982 money...that is like $22000 in 2009 money. So far, it has gone up in value by about $3000. I guess old apple computers are still a better investment than most of Wall Street.

I know it is off topic, but just looking at how worthless the money has become makes me sick.

"Pushed out of the spotlight by the original Mac in 1984, the Lisa 1 supported some mutitasking, a GUI, protected memory and could handle up to 2MB of RAM."

They did multitasking back then, but it took Android to force them to bring it to the iPhone!

It would seem full circle. I remember Lisa at a high end computer store back when. I also remember another one after the Mac in '85ish that was more powerful than the Mac, but cannot remember the name.

Yeah I know it's supposedly "history" but any moron that would pay 25k for this needs to be committed...Funny though...You'd think the greedy bastard selling it would pick up the shipping but that's an additional $60...ROFL!!!

Just my $0.02,

im staring to wish my brother hadnt sold his sinclair zx spectrum that thing would of been worth a fortune especially since it had a floppy drive.cant even find a pic of it on google images.can find pics of the keyboard just not the floppy drive he had with his.he had an amiga 500 and amiga 1200 aswell back in the day.give it time and hopefully my mums pentium 2 will be worth something.

back on topic i dont think old macs are worth anything unless you find some eccentric collector of old computers.

custom built gaming pc from early 2010,ps2 with 15 games all original,ps3 500gbs with 5 games all original, yamaha amp and 5.1channel surround sound speakers,46inch sony lcd smart tv.
