Bit Confused About the Blu-Ray Fix

Ok so I'll be getting the e3 card reader in a few days and I see that the teams have come out with a blu-ray fix. Do I run this after using the e3 card reader or before? Also, can anyone confirm that it works on a 3.50 firmware ps3 slim?

Seems you have not kept up to date on this. WEll neither have I but thats cos I havent the need to downgrade. But last I heard is that the disabling of the bluray playback is only on certain phat models, mainly the older ones. Slims are not effected.

Secondly, noone has a fix, these lot are claiming to have a fix to make more people buy their dongles instead of someone elses.

If you have not downgraded your console yet, then it is recommended you backup a few of the system files. cant remember which but am sure there is a tutorial out there somewhere. This way is something does happen you can restore the backup to get things working again.

Actually there is nothing to do with modded PUP's or different dongles. It doesn't matter what jailbreak items you use to downgrade, PS3 break ,E3 card reader or any other jaibreak items,it's nothing about the items. But some of them may have announced that they solved the problem with their device, all of those news were confirmed fake, just the marketing strategy . And it is a pity that no 100% method to fix this problem so far.
