What TV cable was connected to it? HDMI, Component or Composite? If using component / composite made sure you have HDTV/SDTV selected on the plus in to the xbox

If its HDMI, are you sure you are using the correct channel? Are you sure both ends of the HDMI are connected correct?
Hope this helps
Mike

try resetting your video display on the 360. During boot up press right trigger and Y button... I think you can do this when the system has gotten to the dash board... so if you cant see anything, wait until you think its fully booted and sitting at the dash, then press R trigger and Y button to reset the display to 480i... then you can go back to your display settings and choose 1080i or 1080p depending on your TV and connection.
Hope that helps.

if you can't reset the video display, then your gpu has crapped out. You will need to have it fixed via a reflow, or you can use wooly's heatgun guide method - search the fourms for it as its saved A LOT of systems and is well written.

I had the same thing happen to me.
Here is what was wrong.
I had my 360 hooked up to my tv upstairs via component at 1080p.
My tv downstairs can only do 1080i via component. So eventually i realized I needed to change to 1080i before I hooked it up downstairs.

audio but no video is pretty common and is the same issue as the RRoD: broken solder caused by x-clamp flexing. Fix with a reflow and x-clamp replacement (see my signature for the tutorial)
