I have recently ordered a new notebook with the specs described below so I thought I would do a little investigation into how to backup my various movies and PS2 games when it arrives. I have spent a few of hours now reading the various guides, downloading and testing DVDshrink and DVDdecryptor, ordering Nero6 and reading the forum discussions. I am yet to burn a disk but feel I have read everything needed in order to do so. Hopefully I wont need any help with errors but cant guarentee anything yet. Thanks everyone.

Congratulations on reading the guides & testing the software. You have set a standard that all newcomers to this medium should follow. It is VERY refreshing indeed.

The idea has merit but probably not a good idea both for time constraints and 'fairness' :) Not my call though :)

Yes, it may look good on paper - but tracking all new members from month to month would obviously require alot of hands on monitoring and due to the continuing growth of the forum (excellent) would make the task some what monotamous................

We used to have top poster etc......I think Dela and Oriphus cornered that market............LOL
