You need to have your drive flashed to enable you to play copies of games.
one note, sorry for the it if it is lame.
shouldn't axb fix the protection and stealth stuff for it so the original one don't recognize it or i am mistaken
ABGX is a proper program for patching games. But a patched game still has the disc protection on it. It's just relocated to a different location on the disc.
In a nutshell...
The protection on a disc is that little "bar code" right around the hole in the disc. On burnable discs, it isn't possible to burn right around that hole. If it were, then people would be able to make true 1:1 copies of games. But because it's not possible to burn there, it's necessary for the protection to be burnt to a different location on the disc.
How modded firmware works is when a disc is inserted, it'll first read the original location of the protection, where it would be on an original disc. If the protection isn't found there then the modded firmware will search the other, specific location where it would be for a burnt disc.
Thanks for the quick replies, but wonder if there is a softmod for the new xbox 360 with kinect, have been reading that it is not available yet, any advise?!
