sorry if this has already been covered but i aint been keepin up to date with whats been going on. i flashed my xbox a while back hitachi drive with the firmware before a.6 or lt think its 1.5summin. well anyway my girlfriend just bought the kinect for christmas and i would like to know is it going to mess up my xbox if i intall the new dash. i have no new games with the new securety checks is thr a way passed this yet if i install the dash just now then update the firmware when i have time or it comes out ? thanks for the advice and help given x

I updated my firmware from 1.6 to lt+ after never going online since last October, then updated to the Kinect firmware and it works fine. But you'll need that update to play Kinect so hopefully you aren't flagged. I have no idea how to tell if you're flagged, look it up on here. I just took my chances. Don't play online unless your backups are 100% patched though.

it's simple, update your firmware to LT+, update your dashboard, and run all the ISO's through ABGX 360 1.0.5 it patches the new protection and enjoy your kinnect
