First off, I am new here and this site looks really good and looks like it will be able to help me out a lot in the coming weeks :D

I am considering buying a 360 but before I do I want to know how easy it is to mod.

I am not sure if the new slimline model of Xbox360 can be modded? I seen a video but I dont think it was legit.

I would like to know exactly what I need in order to mod the console to allow me to play backed up games on it, in simple straight forward replies.

If I need to buy any cables etc, what software I would need and some form of guide, I was on jungleflasher but that seemed to only be for the older 360 model.

Thanks to anyone and everyone who replies to me and hopefully can help clear up some of my questions regarding this.

As of today, the Slim 360 cannot be modded.

Jungleflasher has a step-by-step tutorial that you can follow to mod older model 360's.

Is it known if the newer model can/will be modded in the same way?
