So i got my ps3 online that was ylod and missing its blu-ray. I cooked the yellow out of it and now when i turn it on it jumps right to turning itself on (no red light and standby mode) then the fan goes like full speed then it shuts off 30 seconds later.

Remove/disconnect the eject/power-on panel to see if it still turns on by it's self.

Most PS3s have it all on one board.

I would take a quick look at the power and eject switch things. They are not actually switches, just contacts. Make sure they are standing strait and not shorting on anything (they can fall over during baking if you use a heatgun).
