How much do you think I can get for my ps3?

I think I will sell my ps3 this year but I was wondering what the market for it will be looking like. Its a Phat 60Gb PS3. Had it for a long time and still runs flawlessly, and I never upgraded it pass firmware 3.41. Any idea where would be the best place to sell it and what price it might get for it?

honestly dnt know how much but ebay would be the right place to look for an estimate and last time i checked 3months ago firmware 3.41 there were going for $600 AU dnt know how much dat is in ur currency.

Wow that quite a big price tag. I will check on ebay and see what I can get it sold for over here. Your currency is it bit higher the US currency so its almost the same. Thanks for the info.

just had a look on a website for my local games shop (im in australia).pre owned ps3(40)gb is $334AU.brand new ps3 with 320GB is about $600AU.ps3 on ebay.com.au usually sell for anywhere between $150-$600AU.\

btw got a quick question for you.are usa consoles compatable with australian games/blu-rays/dvds??? most our dvds are region 4 and we run on Pal here.

Hmmm I think it would play alot of the ps3 games from there because most of the games released for the ps3 are region free only a few of them are actually locked to a region, but I really doubt that DVD's and Bluray's from that region will work. This is only a guess not 100% sure.
