Yep! No lying here, even PSP go! Want to know how? READ ON
[ITEMS NEEDED]
PSP Running OFW 6.20, 6.31, or 6.35
Memory stick/PSP go System Storage
Files listed below
Now if you are running 6.20 you will need
PATAPON2 DEMO
PATAPON2 XPLOIT
PATAPON2 HBL
6.20 TN-B
If you are on 6.31 or 6.35 you will need
MINNA no SUKKIRI DEMO
MINNA no SUKKIRI XPLOIT (Included with DEMO)
MINNA no SUKKIRI HBL
if on 6.31 then THIS file
if on 6.35 then THIS file
[INSTALLATION]
Now the setup for all games are basically the same, but may differ slightly.
1) Download the files corresponding to your Firmware, if your firmware isn't listed, then upgrade to 6.20 (It's slightly better than the 6.31 and 6.35 hack)
2) Extract the demo of the game you are using and put it in the PSP\GAME folder of the memory stick or System Storage
3) Extract the Xploit to the PSP\SAVEDATA folder of your memory stick or system storage
4) Extract HBL to the mem stick or sys storage
5.1) If you are on 6.20 extract 6.20 TN-B to PSP\GAME
5.2) If you are on 6.31 or 6.35 extract the EBOOT.PBP to MEM/SYS:\hbl\menu and overwrite the old EBOOT.PBP
6) Exit USB mode and go to GAME--> MEMORY STICK (Or sys storage) and run your DEMO (PATAPON 2 or Minna no Sukkiri)
7.1) If running on Patapon 2 for the first time you will need to install the data
7.1.1) Hit Continue and load the hacked savedata
7.1.2) At the menu (When you hear the crickets) Hit R and load up HBL
7.1.3) choose HEN and press X to load
7.2) If on Minna no Sukkiri load it up and wait for all the intro stuff to finish
7.2.1) Since you probably can't read the JAP text, all you have to do is press O at the main menu and it will load up HBL then load up HEN automatically
8) Welcome to HEN, you can now run nearly any homebrew without any trouble, if you want to load ISOs read on
[Running ISOs]
1) Download Prometheus for HBL (FROM HERE)
2) Put in PSP\GAME
3) Create a folder on the memory stick / system storage called ISO
4) Download ISOs or CSOs, downloading these without ever owning the game is illegal!
Ok, I only came back to report this to needy people!

Wait another month or so and the whole HEN/CFW thing goes down the drain. It is possible now to sign unofficial code, which means it runs on official firmware.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

Yeah, what he said. I'm anxiously awaiting this as I have a PSP 3k and I'm tired of playing around with HEN every time I turn the thing on.
Can't wait for retail signed iso loaders to pop up!

Ok, I have a psp slim that has CFW....who knows what #. Are you saying I can just revert back to normal OFW and then DL these programs and I can run ISO's like I was with no crashing etc? No wondering if I can play the latest released game because it may update my PSP to a newer OFW?

Not yet. There are no programs at the moment, the codes have been released 5 days ago. Also about the crashing thing, not sure.

This method definitely does work, it can be a bit of a pain in the butt sometimes as I have had the ISOs lock up on random occasion. So rebooting your psp and going through the demo to enable it again is an inconvenience, but hey nothing for free is always easy. Its an ok trade off if you don't want to do the battery/mem stick stuff.
I do have a question though to anyone knowledgeable on this method. I have read that you can get Eboot version of PSONE games working by method of enabling a popsloader. Is there anyway to enable this so called plugin on this version of a homebrew PSP? Without the normal custom firmware method can you in any way access the boot menus?

I just want to thank you for this thread! It saved me a lot of trouble. I am new at this and I was using HEN on 5.03, but didn't realize I had to use Prometheus to run games. So most games gave me an error when starting. Now they are working fine.

First... thank you for this. Second, I'm also having problems with an eboot I get this error "this game could not be started 80010002". I just want to be free of this stupid localized FF7 version (french) >_>. I hate the psn policy of not letting you download any version of a game ...

Instead of being rude you could point us to a guide.

I tried to do the same with Signed 6.35 PRO HEN but it doesn't work with this method if that's what you're refering to.
