StatCounter has revealed that Mozilla's Firefox browser is now in pole position in the European market. This is the first time that Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser has lost the top spot in a major market, according to the analytics firm. I would love to see a similar "Browser Choice" screen pushed out worldwide or at least in the U.S. and see what the results are for Firefox and Chrome.

It would be interesting. One thing though that I noticed about the Browser Choice screen when I got it on my comps is it doesn't actually make it "very easy" to stick with Internet Explorer 8. IIRC, it gives a clear option to decide later instead. Obviously if you select IE8 it says "thanks for sticking with IE" and yada yada but other than that, I don't think Microsoft did themselves any favors at all with it lol

cant believe most people don't use Chrome...
no better, faster and cleaner browser imo
