AT&T and Vitality have jointly announced at CES a new tech that will turn pill bottles 'smart,' with patients receiving daily reminders to take their medications. The Vitality GlowCaps will use sound/light reminders to remind patients to take their pills. Inside the cap is an embedded LED light which flashes orange when a user should be taking their drugs. The picture says "Automatic refills" but we haven't invented teleportation yet... ;-)

Hey the general idea is good, lights and sound reminder? But seriously $15 a month for a device that needs to send and receive virtually no data? And its going to report me for opening my bottle when I shouldn't?! No thanks..
