I'm backing up a movie direct from a DVD. The lip sync of the ripped files (not burned, just the backup on hard drive) is very bad. I would estimate the audio is delayed by about 2 seconds after the lips move. The source disc is a DVD9 (7.64Gb) so Shrink is compressing it to about 56% to fit on a DVD5.
Can some one please tell me what's going on here & how to fix it? I never had this problem before with Shrink.
DVDFab is an updated ripper - DVD Shrink has not been updated for years.
The free version is a ripper only.
If you purchase it, it has the other features you want.
I think you can try it for 30 days without restriction.

Thanks all for replying. After some experimenting I found the lip sync issue was not being caused by the ripper. It was actually a codec problem in Media Player Classic. Once corrected, the audio produced by any of the rippers played fine.
