There is multiple 3.55 releases of homebrew that is compatible with geohots patched 3.55 firmware jailbreak. and the guys from #psgroove have set up a repository.

It means the real jailbreak is coming or? just need more time to prove it...
The real jailbreak is already out, and it does required any dongle because of the master keys. The only thing not working is backup playback.

no not quite , back ups dont work yet , backup devs have to change it to make it work with the cfw

Does it matter, the fact is, Backups are working, not all but some, ghere is a video of one:

seems like playing the games straight from the xmb is cooler and more feasible at this point. the backup manager people messed with the lv2 and who knows what that can lead to without alot of testing...

Isnt the non-backup manager compatibility list really small? I think the guy said only 3 out of 10 games can be played this way, the rest require the peel poke or something.

So really if ppl install this they will find most of their games may not work.
But still a lot of progress going on in this and faster than I thought it would be, so still good news and we just have to wait until its perfected.
