Thanks for the link, this has arrived way faster than I though, though backup mangers require updating for this. Hopefully done by the end of the week maybe, if we are lucky.

I'm on 3.41 and am able to jailbreak. What would be the steps to get this 3.55 CFW? Do I update to legit 3.55 first, or go straight from my 3.51 to this CFW?

Playing your backups won't be possible on 3.55 right now so unless you want to use it for homebrew and use you disc to play games, you should just stick to 3.41 right now until backup managers are released and everything is stable.

ay rick how did you get 3d dot game heroes to work it didnt work for me, black screen on boot i did everything like ftp to dev_hdd0/game/BLES00875/USRDIR then installed .pkg end result black screen

What I did was install 3d dot game package, then find the folder usrdir in FTP and sent the files over there....
What I think you did wrong was, if you notice, that BLES means it is EURO edition... While BLUS is US version...
if you uploaded a US version USRDIR to the EURO edition, it doesn't work
edit: also, I updated my list of downloads... There are like 20 games available now.

Ok I here again with more news but this time its bad news. Unfornately the peek/poke is useless! This is because Sony added some anti lv2 patching stuff in the 3.55 firmware. So there you have it, it won't work but now they are pursuing lv1. You can read about it here.

lol......I know right now, I'm just looking forward to a 3.55 downgrader for now, my new ps3 is coming in tomorrow and I have no idea which firmware it will be loaded with hopefully its 3.50.

OK I just got my ps3 and its on firmware 3.40, so now my question is was this lv2 hack ever made for 3.41 or only for 3.55?

Dang I thought flukes and the other guy would have made the patch for 3.41 since they know that firmware doesn't have the anti lv2 patching in it.

Some good news about the peek/poke lv1/lv2 patching from flukes1.
