I've been googling for a while trying to find any way to change the controls for RE5. So far I've come up with nothing. On the game, there are 4 control sets, which are all pretty similar, and all are 100% crap. The controls make the game absolutely infuriating to play (anyone who has played it can attest, I'm sure).

Am I missing a mod? Or, if there is no one available, is there any way to mod the game, then burn it with the modified controls in the game? (re-mapping the controls). As it is, the game is simply unplayable.

AFAIK, there is no way to remap the controls to your likings. The controls seem the same on RE4. I just got used to them after playing the game for about 15 minutes. Keep playing, and you'll adjust. If not, then just toss the game out the window lol j/k. It's really an enjoyable game once you get the controls down.
