...but probably not. I really feel sorry for those people with the 100MB plans who are paying overages by the third of each month. Oh wait, they are trying to contribute to the success of this terrible OS...they deserve what they get!

why would they? mobile carriers like at&t and verizon have millions of customers who are using different types of devices. they can't see what someone is doing with their phones, only the amount of data being transferred. who is to say that one person's data usage is unintended vs another who is doing a data intensive task at regular intervals. its an issue with the phone that YOU decided to plunk your money down on, not the network. the carrier isn't responsible for that.

They most certainly f-ing ARE responsible for that. The network is the one that decided to offer the phone for sale. They have a direct responsibility to test the technology they are offering for use on their network. A case in point, that their phones actually f-ing ring so their customers have an opportunity to answer their phone when someone attempts to dial the number.

Joking apart i think widows mobile 6.0 and above to windows mobile 6.5 had a windows update option that never worked and told you there was no updates and it was never used, figured they must have thought giving fixes to your phone might prevent you from upgrading..... lol

Since, the WP7 Jailbroken recently, surely it wouldnt be that hard for someone to use a jail broken phone to write a program to do something like a netstat or something to at least point what softwares causing it.

LMFAO heres betting its something to do with XBL and no ones worked out yet its worse for the people who have a massive xbl buddy list ;)
