E74 following X Clamp fix

Hi

Already carried out X Clamp replacement to prevent RROD but now have single red light in bottom right quadrant and E74 error on start up (also replaced fan).

Is there a different fix in these circumstances?

If necessary could someone advise on reflow etc etc.

search on this site for wooleys guide to reflow, it will help you with this problem, also make sure the tension is correct on your heatsinks if you do not have the correct torque on your screws this could cause e74, but most likely it is a flexed board and will need a proper reflow.

Xclamp is a joke unless you bought the TeamX kit which is pretty good, but that alone won't usually fix that error. Heatgun fixes sometimes work. Easier to buy a new xbox. E74 is a tough one to have it work for another year.
