I recently applied cfw kmeaw 3.55. Im using backing up manager Romero but kinda stuck with what do with my legit backups. Where to I place them and such?

Option 1. If you wanna store your games onto your ps3's internal hard drive from your pc then you need to ftp them in with blackbox ftp. In Rogero you can change the setting of where your games are installed inside the ps3's directory. One of the options (#6) is dev_hdd0/GAMEZ. Thats what i used. Choose that and create the folder since Rogero doesnt create that folder for you. Then just ftp those game in that folder and your straight!

Option 2. Put disc inside ps3 and copy from manager.

Theres many other ways to store backups, its just that i dont how your setup.

Hi thanks for the help. Right now all I have is just the cfw and back up manager. I'm not too fimilar with how to create the folders, so i guess I have to brush up on getting fimilar with using it.

Use either Smartftp or Winscp to create the folders inside the ps3. Go into: dev_hdd0 (inside that directory create a folder named GAMEZ)Then in rogero change the settings of the path for backups to dev_hdd0/GAMEZ.

I'm actually using Black Box FTP server and filezilla. I went into HDD0 and created a directory named GAMEZ as you said. However when booting up Rogero i'm getting a black screen when starting it up.

If Rogero doesnt start, then that means you need to download, install and run the latest lvl2 pkg file and file permission fix prior to firing up Rogero. Gaia doesnt need lvl2 to be used to run but i never used gaia, so :S.

Tried Gaia, open manager, multiman and they froze or didn't want to play my games. Rogero is flawless so far. Just always run lvl2 prior to opening it. Always!

I installed the lvl2 pkg file but Rogero still wouldn't work, and only gave me a black screen. I eventually switched over to Multiman which works fine but doesn't boot the current game I have installed to the HD. I have also noticed that when I run the lvl2.pkg I get a black screen and end up having to do a cold boot. When I get home this evening I'll go back over everything to ensure I'm using the correct pkg file for my firmware. Everyone's comments and replies are very much appreciated.

P.S. Multiman runs and allows me to create a copy on the local HD.
