Ok guys so sorry for the noobish questions here but I am a little confused after all the reading I ahve been doing on the subject. Basically here is what I want to know.

1) I downloaded the files needed to install kmeaw custom firmware from the sticky thread here. Do I need one of those break devices in order to install this or is this just an alternate method leading to the same end result?

2) I dont care about copying my ps3 games to my hdd I am fine playing them off the disks all I want cfw for is to play my legitmate nes and snes games on my ps3 am I understanding correctly that I can do this now?

Short and sweet and to avoid confusion I do legitamately have both nes and snes with many games and I have the roms to them as I have modded my psp to play them on since the older consoles are both dead :(. I assume I should be able to use those same roms with emulators I can install on my ps3 after the cfw correct? Thanks in advance
