Dvd x copy platinum burn freezes at chapter s 13-19

I recently installed DVD X COPY PLATINUM on my window xp system, and the installation went fine,the registration went fine, the reading and the burn went fine so I thought. After the burn process I placed the copy into the dvd player and it played fine until I got to chapter 13 in the movie. To my surprise I found that chapters 13 to 19 did not record, but chapters 20 through 27 did, so my problem is why did all chapters copy except 13 to 19. To make sure this was not a freak incident I made back-ups of 2 other dvd's all different titles but with the same results. Now How Is This Possible!!!!!! Someone please help I tried 321 Studios tech support but they kept me on hold for 20 minutes and long distance charges are expensive, Thanks in advance.

What version of Platinum are you using? Also 321's hours are 9-6 Central Time, Mon-Sat. Best time to call is when the center first opens.

This symptom is usually related to the blank DVD's that are used.

What are you using? Brand, type, etc?

Skipping entire chapters is a new one on me.

Out of curiosity, did it skip the same chapters or different ones on the other discs?

The type of media that i'm using is memorex dvd+r
and yes the burn pattern discrepency is located at
exactly the same place on every disc. I will try a new media and keep you posted, by the way is there a
particular media that performs well with the program

Is this your first attempt at backing up your DVD's?

Is your DVD burner limited to only DVD+R?

Have you had any problems with your DVD burner before?

My first thought was it being a media problem. After the replies, maybe the software is not burning an entire BUP file.
