Ok so to start off, thank you for reading this. I havent played my PSP in a very long time and decided to start palying it today. I got a couple of new games "MGS Peacewalker" and "God of War Chains of Olympus". I noticed that when I connected to the internet and tried to update to version 6.37 it said, "The Game Could Not Be Started DADADA" I currently have 3.40 OE-A. I keep trying to download it but I keep getting that same message(even without the disk inside). Im not really tech savy and a while back had my uncle hack my psp to get me games. I reset the system and all and have 3.40 OE-A. Also I have the original fat PSP 1001. I really want to update this thing so I can start playing again. I see alot of people posting all different answers but I have no idea where to start. THANKS ALL!

get hellcats recovery flasher 1.65 and flash to 5.5 GEN D3 and upgrade to Prometheus-4 after the flash to play 6.2 games

Can someone give me the Guide for stupid people? I have a PSP 1000 and im trying to do this. I have no clue where to put the files or how to start all this. Im seriously a noob when it comes to modding. I just bought it with version 3.02 OE-B. Please help. Be specific.
