Yesterday I used this download to downgrade to version 1.5, I dont know why I did it its just because my psp is very old and I wasn;t able to play newer games on it. So now that I did it I have no idea what to do because I cant connect to the internet and its not even picking up my usb cable. Guess that my psp is done? I dont know. Any answers will help, thanks
nevermind it does pick up the usb cable. I just don't know what to do next, I keep getting a DNS error when trying to connect to the internet and when I try to do an update via pc I get an error saying the system configuration does not appear to be correct. Any 1 please help.
First download ChickHEN R2, the 5.03 update file, hellcats recovery flasher 1.65, System update 5.50, 5.5 promethus-4 addon and UltimateVSH Menu
1) Copy downloaded files to memory stick
2) Install 5.03 System Update
3) Run the ChickHEN R2 TIFF expoit
4) When back at XMB go to system information and check if it says 5.03 HEN. After run Hellcats recovery flasher 1.65 and install 5.5 GEN D3. Guide on how to install http://pspslimhacks.com/install-5-50-gen-d3-with-recovery-flasher-fw-pack/ 5) Install CFW
6) reboot PSP 7) When selected settings and back at XMB install 5.5 Prometheus-4
8) Download and put games to root/ISO

Thanks for the help man but im going to just buy a whole new system...guess I just missed to many updates and stuff cause I have the original 1001 system
I know but the problem is I hat your really talking about, im not tech savy or anything, all I want to do is get my psp to the newest version to play online and stuff. Maybe a more detailed guide would help me.
nah when i go to game/memory stick and hit the update i get an eroor saying "the system configuration does not appear to be correct. The update cannot be started. Contact Technical support for assistance. (DRNFFFFFFCD) Im guessing that this is bad :(
