Sony Ericsson has finally confirmed the Xperia Play, placing an ad during the Super Bowl, at the price of $6 million for the 1 minute spot.
The PlayStation phone will be formally unveiled at the Mobile World Congress on February 13th, running an Xperia Arc custom interface, on top of Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

If it has no PSP support, then yeah...I would rather have a keyboard. Then again, I would rather have an Android phone that allows for rooting...if recent sony acts indicate anything, you might get sued for rooting a sony phone.
As for the PSP2Phone, it will probably be released about the time that PSP2 sales slack off...kinda like how apple pulled the cameras from the iPad in order to help sales of the iPad2 (and yes, they pulled the camera; the case even has a place for it).
