you might get sued as well since you just copied and paste that number from that link that they just posted...

notice why they replace the numbers on this site with X's

Ah, but just like the CSS code, no one owns ANY arbitrary string of numbers, sorry ^^ . I think I'll make a T-shirt.

If they wanted ownership, they should have copyrighted it...that would have made hacking a lot easier!

I'm not sure why AD is afraid to post the key, it reminds me of my other favorite string:

They are afraid of getting sued. They are not afraid of loosing, as they would not be in the wrong...they are just afraid of the lawyer fees.

Your missing a pair... there is a 17 in there... did you accidentally leave it out or did it get modified so it is not the real key?

lol does that mean that sony should also sue bing, google, yahoo and all other search engines who are all also listing this code due to the vast number of pages it appears on.

lol google says : About 131,000 results haha

Sony's legal dep't. is is a bunch of pinheads, obviously. I guess none of them had ever heard of CSS? LOL They only spread the code even faster by suing.

This lawsuit fiasco is going to end up costing Sony millions, with *no* return. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving corporation... Karma's a real bitch.

On top of that, Sony is crazy if they think they can put Pandora back in the box! Once the info is out, it's out for good. Instead why not embrace the idea and create an app store for the PS3 for developers. They could actually make some money instead of wasting it suing people.

allows you to add your own crack update or something so you can allow it to save full ver of PS3 games onto the hard drive... go to rent a game then save it and return the game and you don't need the game to play it

No. That WOULD get AD in trouble; hex strings are one thing, the actual procedure is something else entirely.

"GeoHot" will possibly be able to get out of this lawsuit relatively easily, since his version of the "crack" specifically did not directly allow for piracy. I wish him and the "failOverflow" group the best of luck. The later releases of piracy-enabling CFW, well... They're in a world of hurt, if SOny knows who they are.

Remember kids... Spread the code in unusable form such as ASCII art, JPEG, Morse code and such to have the precedence of the CSS trial back you up if you are ever sued. :)
