Can't burn pirated dvds from overseas (asia)

I have a singaporean dvd that will not burn properly. Everything runs through the burning sequence fine but it plays in black and white. PLEASE HELP!!!

As far as im concerned this is still piracy, you may have paid for your copy (more the fool you are) but taking a video camera into a cinema and filming a movie is piracy.

you have purchased a pirate copy from asia so the forum rules say no piracy.
you can only backup a copy if you have the original factory copy.

you must have a fair idea( out before cinema release finished or even started, ppl walking in fore ground, shot on a handycam, etc).
However if it burnt fine, then it could be a pal/ntsc playback problem

Yep, kinda hard to deny that it is a pirated copy when you state that it is in your subject line. Oh, please help me, I am having trouble breaking the law. You need to read the rules my friend!

so lemme get this traight, I cant backup my own selfmade homemovie DVDs cause its not a factory copy? hmmm that logic makes absolutely no sense whats so ever. you dont always have to have the retail /bought DVD to back it up, ie homemovies on DVD etc.
